84^ Adunata Nazionale degli Alpini a Torino

Torino for three days is a car-free city. This photo -better than numbers- gives an idea on what it means the 84° National Parade of Alpine troops... Three terrific days with music, dancing and wine :-)

It is so good sometimes to get cars out of the streets and to get people out of their cars.
Have fun while you can, in your car-free city.

Once I lived for a month in a Swiss village built on the side of an alp. It was so steep that no cars were allowed, only horse-drawn wagons and golfcarts and cablecars. Very quiet!

So many reasons to visit Turin: chocolate festival, car-free days...

Is this the Via Po?

Thank you Virginia !

Dina you probably means: Zermatt (it's just at feet of Matterhorn)

Linda, you are right. "Torino on the move" is the motto and in fact, esèecially this year it's plenty of formidable events. Yes, correct: it's via Po.
